Are your Dreams Bigger than your Nightmares?

This one is heartfelt, folks.

For the past thirty years, my dream has been to change people’s lives for the better. To a fault, from the very beginning, I have approached every coaching conversation with a fierce commitment to generating profound and lasting shifts in people. I haven’t always succeeded however this has always been my intention.

By contrast, if I’m honest, there has always been a sense in the background that disaster is imminent. I carry with me an insidious belief that Armageddon is around the corner – perhaps because half of my family were killed in the Holocaust. Fear has a knack of passing between generations.

Both my dreams and nightmares drive me.

What is interesting is how different the experience of living is when I am pursuing my dreams versus avoiding nightmares.

Of course there is a lot to justify fear and anxiety in the world right now. We are fed it regularly through our devices.

However I would like to think that we are at least partially conscious beings. We can choose to a degree where we place our attention.

So perhaps take a moment today to consciously reconnect with your dreams, allow yourself to be re-inspired and go and make a positive contribution, whatever that may look like for you.

Have a great week everyone.
